The Centre for Tropical and Travel Medicine is located in the tower house at Aeschenplatz 2 in the heart of Basel, just a few minutes' walk from the SBB railway station, since 3 January 2024. By public transport you can reach us directly by tram on lines 3, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15 and E11 and by bus on lines 37 and 80. Bicycle parking is available in the immediate vicinity. Paid parking options can be found, for example, in the Aeschen-Parking car park (more parking options can be found here: https://www.parkleitsystem-basel.ch/).

Monday–Wednesday: 08:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00

Thursday: 08:00–12:00 and 15:00–19:00

Friday: 08:00–15:00

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance (by calling  +41 61 284 82 55 or emailing: tropmed@swisstph.ch). We must charge for appointments which have not been cancelled in due time (as per TARMED).
