Every year, around 16,000 travellers come to the Centre for Tropical and Travel Medicine for advice on all aspects of travel medicine and vaccination against common diseases. We are also here for you after your trip: as Switzerland’s largest competence center in tropical and travel medicine, we can also diagnose and treat rare travel diseases competently and quickly.

The Centre for Tropical and Travel Medicine is part of Swiss TPH. With around 950 employees, Swiss TPH is Switzerland’s largest research institute in the field of public health and global health. For over 80 years, its medical team has been a key point of contact for travellers from across the region. We regularly liaise with experts from around the world, maintaining close contact with health facilities, hospitals and cantonal authorities. Thanks to our expertise, we are frequently called upon to provide advice and consultancy services.
